Here are a few picture of the snow here in North Dakota.

Here is our van.

Here is a snow drift on the side of our church.

Here is the same snow drift. It goes halfway up the door and the door is about six inches to a foot above the ground.

Here is a view a little bit farther back. These snow drifts happen because of the wind.

The drift out there dosen't look real big, but if you were to walk out there in the middle of it you would change your mind.

Here is a little snow drift.

Here is snow we have shoveled out of the doorways.

Here are some tire marks in the snow. It might show a little bit how deep the snow really is.

We got around 4 to 6 inches of snow last night.

We had a very unexpected surprise today. Jessica has her first loose tooth! We were sitting at the supper table and the next thing you know there are screams and tears flying. Jessica had mixed emotions about the whole ordeal. She wanted to smile and laugh about it, but then she was scared because her tooth was loose. But I think that she got over it and she is happy about it now.

The Installation Service

Here are a few pictures from the installation service here in Minot.

Bro. Gleason preached the installation service.

Elder Pearson installed Bro. and Sis. Starr.

The Family

We have successfully moved from Hillsboro, Oregon to Minot, North Dakota. We have had to endure a little bit of snow, not much rain, and lots of basketball while being here. We have and are still a little bit adjusting to Minot. One of the first things we realized in fact is that it is cold. We realized this when the first snow came in about the first week of December and the first below zero weather came around the second week of December. But our family is adjusting and enjoying!

Jared is a senior this year and has started his first 'real' job. He works two nights a week doing floor maintenance in area businesses.

Jonathan is a freshman, has grown about a foot in the past year, and is still his happy self.

Jessica has made many new girlfriends of whom she is trying to 'straighten out'. She announced recently that she would like to give one of them a bible study so she can teach them to be a better friend.
